The wood stove works amazing! Started my first fire in it (after the "break in" fires" on a Friday. I refilled it Saturday once, and Sunday evening used the coals to re-light a 3rd fire. Burn time is great, and heat retention of the stove is awesome. However, the delivery company left a lot to be desired. Took an extra 5 days to get my stove after the dropped it off in the WRONG STATE. I ended up with sombody esle's stove. Lucky it had his information on it and we were able to sort it out. Great stove, crappy shipping company. They cost me vacation time and a lot of headache.

I live in a very rural area and a large truck could not deliver the Drolet 1800 stove. We worked out a plan and met the driver at the local store with a pick up and utility trailer. The stove arrived undamaged and looks to be exactly what we wanted for a shop. It’s not installed yet so unable to give feedback on anything else. The Fyre Place Company was very helpful and courteous.

Looks to be exactly what we wanted & made of high quality materials. Sorry to say that we haven’t installed our stove yet so cannot give you more info.

This thing is a beast, burns all night long! Absolutely wand love it! Should have bought it in the beginning of the winter!!

It was simple to attach to my Drolet 1800 Escape and turns on whenever the air temperature on the back of the stove gets hot enough.

Very satisfied with this wood stove. Had an older Drolt myriad but wasn't designed properly and would clog up, didn't have the baffle. This one does so can dump creosote residue into burn box. also I like the slider draft control better than push/pull type. Secondary burn technology works very good. Never packed chamber full but did have four seasoned pieces of oak that lasted six hours with plenty as nbers left to get fire going again. would highly recommend for someone that has smaller mobile home or house.My square footage is around 650sqft and it has 0 problem heating it. Great company that communicated with me every step along the way. The delivery guy from exp was super professional and called 30 minutes out which helped greatly. I bought the Drolet Escape 1200 a year ago...its the best wood stove I've ever had as far as operational...the Drolet 1800 would be better for the larger fire box...but for a 1000 sq ft or 1200 sq ft home...the 1200 is awesome !

We purchased this stove last year because we were having a new build so this was the first winter we were able to use it we live in East Texas and in January 2026 we had a major storm for several days. Our house is a little over 1800 ft.² and we did close off a bedroom and without electric heat this little stove had our home comfortable at 70°. It was easy to start and clean. We would recommend this stove to anyone. great job.
